GENTS OUTFITTERS
In somewhat confined premises is the wide
variety of articles from a typical village draper's
shop, combined with more high class stock of a
gents outfitters in a nearby market town.
Here, with appropriate leather hat boxes, are to
be found toppers, bowlers and billycoks to
accompany the frock coats, dress suits, spats,
gloves and fancy waistcoats of Victorian and
Edwardian eras.
Starched 'dicky fronts', rough flannel shirts,
thick woollen socks and Chilpufe drawers remind us
how much fashion has changed.
A range of stacked collar boxes and cards of
collar studs so often mislaid by our grandfathers.
