PHOTO GALLERY - Extreme weather

Floods at the bottom of Market Place, Pickering, September 1931. The horse called Bonnie, was owned by Pickering Urban Council. With Shields Coates driving and Billy Sparks helping, they are transporting people through the floodwater. The lady standing at the front of the coach is Miss Hood.
