PHOTO GALLERY - Extreme weather

A milk collection lorry, part of the Acey Group, drive through floodwater on the road at Newbridge, in the 1960's. The lorry was owned by L. F. Robinson, haulage contractor of Whitby. The aluminium cans or churns were collected full and empty ones were left in exchange at the farm entrance each day.
