Floods at Pickering, 25 August 1927. This Daimler bus was owned by the United Bus Company and ran from Lockton, Pickering and Malton to York. On the right Eddie Smith can be seen rowing rowing his boat through the flood. The Bridge Street signal box can be seen behind the railway wall. The old railway track is now The Ropery Road.
