Grandad. Mr. Tommy Harper lived in
Westgate, Pickering. His sister, Rose, was
killed in Westgate by Anthony O'Rourke, a
twenty-eight year old labourer. He stood
trial and though cleared of murder was
jailed for manslaughter. This was the
second time in twenty months that a
capital charge had been brought against
