Pickering horse breeder, Frank H.
Stericker of Westgate House is seen in his
yard in Firthland Road in 1912. He sold
some of his horses to the King of Italy
who granted him a license for beading and
supplying horses to the King. (now in the
Beck Isle Museum). He died in 1913.
