Mr. "Les" Barnes and his brother John,
of Yatts Brow Farm, Newton Road are seen
having a "lowance" break (derived from the
word "allowance"), whilst their horse,
Pedlar, stands behind them. They were at a
field near Newbridge on 21 September 1940.
