Wesley Day, 24 May 1938. This group of
Pickering townspeople are gathered in
Willowgate, to celebrate the bi-centenary
of conversion of John Wesley in 1738. The
rubble on the right is thought to be the
result of the demolition of Flitch's
hardware shop, which made way for the
