Patchwork Display
With Barbara Smith of Pickering
'Hands on History' activity days all
through August every Wednesday
Find out about Victorian life, dress up
as Victorian children and step back in time.
Saturday 13th September - Open Free
Entry Day
Ancient & Medieval Finds Day. Bring
along any garden or field finds for dating and
identification by our archaeological team.
Saturday 10th & Sunday 12th
October- 'Wartime Weekend'- 1940's themed event
WWII Military Camp, Wartime vehicles,
'Camp Beck Isle' with U.S. Navy Seabees and British
ATS camp. The largest 1940's themed re-enactment
weekend in Europe, so join in and come along in
costume.
Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December
- Craft & Toy Fair
Family, Local & Military History
Research Days to be confirmed throughout the
season.
We also hope to be able to display the
traction engine 'Old Glory' over one weekend in
summer but this is also to be confirmed
Family ticket offer as from 2008 Season,
this includes 2 adults and up to 3 children now for
£9.00 admission fee!
Last entry to the museum is now at 4.15
